Not much going on here. Just trying to get more work set up. My friend, John Whicker, informed me that a place called Coache's Corner in Ottumwa, Iowa is now doing comedy nights. I have had a few people from Ottumwa say they want me to perform down there. If you want me to perform at your local venue make sure you let the club, bar or whatever it is know. Give them the website address and tell them to get me there. Funny, but for some reason that tends to work.
I am working on getting the spring booked up. I don't put anything on the schedule page until it is officially confirmed. I met a guy who manages a band locally and I may be doing some opening work for them in the up coming months. We will just have to see what all happens. Make sure to check out the schedule page for updates!
Not really much more to say. I'm working on some new bits that I will be trying out at the next couple of shows. Like everything else, you throw the crap at the wall and see if it sticks.
First I want to say a big hello to Les and the gang at Rumors in Hartford, Michigan. Last Saturday's show was a blast! The staff was great and the audience was wonderful! I had a great time talking to everyone after the show. I learned that I don't ask enough questions when I'm talking to people. After the show I found out that Wendy (the gal that had all the animal porn) actually works at a vet clinic! You know what they say: pharmacists has the best drugs...
I shared the stage with a very nice and funny man named Spark Mann. This was the first time we worked together, and I hope it is not the last. I could not find a web site for him and I forgot to ask him if he had one. If anyone out there finds one for him please let me know so I can add him to my links page.
Not to sound like I'm complaining, but the hotel I stayed at had five channels on the TV. Five channels doesn't bother me, but what is disturbing is what channels they were: ABC, FOX, HBO2, DISNEY & CINEMAX. How the hell does that happen? They didn't even get NBC, but HBO2? After the show I basically had my choice of watching either Lilo & Stitch or some soft core porn. It's ok, I just hit the previous channel button alot. Made Lilo a much more interesting movie, I must say.

Lipski and I are working on getting more college shows set up. One last thing before I sign off. This weekend I bought the latest Lewis Black CD and it is awesome! He is one of my favorite comics working. If you have never seen Lewis Black then start watching the Daily Show on Comedy Central. Buy one of his CDs (right after you buy mine) you will not regret it. I aslo picked up Bob & Tom's Camel Toe CD. I know I have already basically heard it all before on the radio, but I love having their stuff to play whenever I want. Comedy CDs are great for road trips, which I have plenty of. If you don't know who Bob & Tom are... what the hell planet did you live on before today? Those guys do rock!
